Students get new school building, bags

CHILREN’S Hour and Carlos A. Gothong Foundation unveiled new classrooms in Cambagocboc Elementary School in the town of Balamban, Cebu under the Bayanihang Pampaaralan program.
The two-classroom and restroom structure was built through the combined efforts of the two organizations.
The Children’s Hour also distributed schoolbags to more than 200 students in
Cambagocboc Elementary School.
The distribution of schoolbags was part of Children’s Hour’s “Happy to Help” program, which asked individuals and corporations to donate goods, in kind, to supplement the project. The Children’s Hour schoolbags contained school and art supplies, and a new pair of leather shoes.
The Cebu schoolbag distribution was supported by Payless ShoeSource, LBC Foundation and L’Oreal Philippines.
