Cops hold raffle for a cause

THE Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB) 7 conducted a “Raffle Draw for a Cause” last Oct. 9 at the camp’s quadrangle in Barangay Bahay, Sibonga town, Cebu.
Proceeds from the raffle tickets, which were sold at P100 each, will be used to build a camp rehabilitation for all police non-commissioned officers inside the compound of the Camp Ceferino Jenobia Regional Special Training Unit in Sibonga.
The event was held under the supervision of Supt. Leopoldo Echica Cabanag, acting battalion commander, together with the representatives from the different sectors, namely, Insp. Salvador Bello III and Teresita Alburo of the National Police Commission 7; Councilman Adrianne Agadier of Barangay Bahay; and Alex Bolocon and Rogelio Tormes of the Knights of Columbus.
The winners are: first prize (Jericho 9mm)-PO1 Jojimar R. Buscato; second prize (Tanfoglio 9mm)-PO1 Clyde Andales; third prize (Norinco hi-cap .45)-Insp. Janus O. Giangan; fourth prize (Norinco single stock .45)-Christopher N. Mariot; fifth prize (Shotgun 126 AKKAR)-Mary Faith Hioko; and the consolation prize winners are Zonnel Largo and Ma. Jugie J. Balverde, who each received one unit of iPhone 4S and Kenneth Michael G. Item, Rheanne Mae L. Madura and Elvera Manatad, who won one unit of Samsung Netbook each.
