CEBU once again conquered Springville, Utah! The World Festival of some 12 nations featured varied cultural songs and dances.

The talented performers, the scholars and alumni of the University of San Jose-Recoletos Dramatics and Cultural Ensemble (USJ-R DCE), Speechcom International, Amparito L. Lhuillier Educational Foundation and We Care Foundation, were amazing with their winsome smiles, presence and poise, startling and colorful Filipino costumes delineating the artistic fusion of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, graceful choreography and vivacity.

The Sinulog and singkil repertoire executed with ethnic music and instruments unfolded Philippine history and culture to some 1000 viewers who came each day from July 23-30.

The production and performance teams were Ramon Sebastian (adviser); alumni Adrian Diongzon, Francis Isidro, Mabel Canoy, Gerard Cabras, US-based Mary Ann Tan; students Losyl Villarico, Gayle Yamashita, Clark Pasuit, Jeth del Mar, Kirsten Sebastian, Michelle Chiong; USJ-R faculty Rafael Matutinao and friend Brian Joseph.

A day at Tambuli

US-based Jorgette Yamyamin was in town and gathered some USJ-R DCE for swimming and dining get-together at Tambuli-West.
