THE rigmaroles of living necessitate means to enter into a deeper level of self-meditation that offers a venue that will hopefully enable us to tackle the different challenges in this world of instant fixes and technological advances.
My research in the internet led me to believe the power of entering into the world of labyrinths. Labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path.

The labyrinth according to lessons.com represents a metaphor for life’s journey to the center of your deepest self and back into the world with a broadened understanding of who you are. It is a symbol that creates a sacred space and takes us out of our ego to “That Which Is Within.”
After weeks of watching the development of the Corona Impeachment, I cannot help but agree with the observation of many that our senators are taking advantage of the media exposure with their grandstanding. If there was a labyrinth available within the vicinity of the Philippine Senate, their presentations and arguments would be geared towards their own self-worth and capabilities of weeding out the truth.
As the Impeachment case progresses, Juan de la Cruz is even more confused as to whether or not the proceedings is criminal in nature or administrative. The legal community is on agreement that the Impeachment case is merely administrative that will eventually lead to the dismissal from office of Chief Justice Renato Corona should there be a preponderance of evidence against him. With due respect to the practicing lawyers, lawyers tend to lead observers to a maze.
Labyrinth by the way is not a maze. A maze is like a puzzle to be solved. It has twists, turns and blind alleys. It is a left brain task that requires logical, sequential, and analytical setting to find the correct path to the center and out again.
A labyrinth has only one path. The way in is the way out. It is a right brain task that involves intuition, creativity and imagery. Given the above tools, who then is the real CJ Renato Corona?
