For the 100th birth anniversary of his beloved father, the late Toledo Mayor Marcelo Barba, USA-based Dr. Jose “Bebe” Barba came home to gather relatives and friends for a a night of remembering. The late Mayor Liloy Barba served as mayor of Toledo from 1955 to 1978.
The dinner celebration was a lauriat affair at the ballroom of the Grand Convention Center. Helping Bebe in host duties was sister Marlene B. Sanchez. Dinner and dancing and a lot of reminiscing were the order of the night. It was a happy, happy reunion of long lost relatives and dear, dear friends.
