ONE of the top 10 non-life insurance companies in the country gears up to meet the demands of globalization, and along with their affirmation to keep their clients’ investments as secure as possible, it is only fitting for Philippine Charter Insurance Corp. to rebrand itself as Charter Ping An Insurance Corp.

‘Ping An’ is a Mandarin term to mean ‘safe and sound’, which president Melecio Mallillin emphasizes as the brand promise of Charter Ping An. He explains that it is not enough to merely gain the trust of clients, but to nurture that trust and ensuring that their wealth is in good hands.

“Globalization is Charter Ping An’s partner in growth,” Mallillin says. “It has allowed us to continuously improve our range of future-ready products to cater to the changing socio-demographic and economic trends.”

With demographic shifts, medical advancements, urbanization, climate change and catastrophies, globalized capitalism and tax treatments affecting the insurance industry, Mallillin adds that the insurance companies of today need to stay one step ahead of the pack and be ready to adapt to the ever-evolving demands of the market.

This is one of Charter Ping An’s priorities that come with their rebranding, along with their continuous commitment to provide security, stability and peace of mind to Filipinos. A member of the Metrobank Group of Companies, it currently has 19 branches nationwide since its establishment in 1960. It aims to be globally competitive with expansion of its offices in years to come. PST
