Blast from the past at Daddy-Yo Diner
-A A +ATuesday, July 3, 2012
BE brought back to the 1950’s as you step inside Daddy-Yo Diner.
It’s like a blast from the past but with a modern twist as the diner is decked with fifties-inspired furniture and décor.
Bringing the fun back from the ‘50s is a group of friends who met while studying at the University of the Philippines-Cebu College: Cresmie K. Agudelo, Ella Christa V. Villacin and Leah Marie C. Baldomar.
It is their first business venture as a group and they wanted to introduce something new, exciting and affordable for the whole family to enjoy.
Consistent with the ‘50s theme, it serves real diner food like burgers, hotdogs, fried chicken, pasta, sandwiches, French fries, onion rings, pancakes and all-day breakfast meals.
Its best sellers so far are chicken fillet meal, chocolate chip pancakes, and double-decker burger.
The place can also be booked for birthdays, meetings and other special events as Daddy-Yo offers affordable packages for as low as P150 per person for a minimum of 30 persons.
Daddy-Yo Diner is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is located at the second level of Shopwise, along N. Bacalso Avenue, Basak San Nicolas.
