AEG Power Tools Asian Distributors Conference is opening today at the Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort and Spa in Mactan hosted by Techtronic Industries Company, Ltd. (TTI), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of corded and cordless power tools, lawn and gardening products as well as a leading manufacturer of vacuum cleaners and other floor care products.
Since founded, AEG Power Tools has been leading the way in new product development by introducing the first transportable drilling machine in 1898 – giving birth to portable power tools. Its global market presence also covers most of the Asia countries including China, Hong Kong/Macau, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and of course, the Philippines. Delegates from these countries arrived in Cebu last Friday to attend the Conference.
The annual conference provides a good platform for TTI and its distributor-partners to review business performance and set the target growth of AEG in Asia. Highlights of this year’s conference are introduction of new products, e.g. innovative cordless tools with the advanced Lithium ion technology to be marketed next year and enhancement in marketing and service support to its partners in the future. Best practices sharing of selected distributors are also on the agenda to help shaping the growth of AEG in Asia.
Being the first country in Asia where AEG Power Tools became available, Cebu, Philippines has been selected as the first Asian country outside Hong Kong (Corporate head quarter) to be the venue of the Conference under TTI.
Elektro Werk, Inc. (EWI), AEG’s partner in the Philippines for over 20 years has been the role model for AEG to further develop the market in Asia. The consistent support and patronage from the local dealers and customers have propelled EWI and AEG’s partnership into great heights.
AEG Power Tools is made available by EWI at major hardwares and stores nationwide.
