LOVE, courtship and marriage inspired by beautiful music! My favorite protégé and University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) and Allef (i.e. the Amparito Llamas Lhuillier Educational Foundation or Allef) gracious scholar, Anna Fegi, said “ I Do” to an equally nice fellow, named Adam Brown, whom she met during her cruising performances in the United States and Europe. Both are performing artists.

The nuptial mass at the Sacred Heart and reception at the Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu were filled with music as memoirs from the well-crafted video made the evening more romantic. Among the sponsors were Consul Michel Lhuillier and his wife Amparito, Ramon Sebastian, Bernard and Margie Visitacion and me (with Sonny’s help)—we were part of Anna’s journey to success! Her co-alumni (Allef - USJ-R) led by Noel Seno, Giselle, Epay, Jenny and Mel, Hazel,Adrian, Arvee (straight from Australia), Jimmy, Jane, Trixie, Greg, among others, managed the event well.

Speechcom’s ‘The Gods are Coming!’

Part of the speech and theater workshop of the USJ-R Lhuillier scholars and Speechcom was a comic skit called The Gods are Coming! inspired by The Visitation of the Gods.

Its premiere showing was at the USJ-R high school Basak Campus on Sept. 14, and will be restaged on Nov. 20 at the USJ-R AVR main campus.

Meanwhile, Speechcom will conduct a speech and theater workshop at the Benedicto College, and some selected schools and companies. The Speechcom office is now located at No. 18 Block 4, Park Vista Townhouse, Apas, Lahug, around the vicinity of IT Park, where tutoring/seminars are conducted in English (pronunciation, reading/speaking); theater; songs/dances; social and business usage; grammar and composition; coaching in ration/declamation; speech writing/delivery; story telling; events management; and other topics upon request. Call 5137088; 09173207088; 09238734362; and 09328738088.
