THE grandest classic car collections exhibit in Cebu is back. Now on its fifth year, Gear and Glam: Larger than Life promises to transform the Northwing Atrium into an outdoor highway with classic cars on display.
The Performance and Classic Car Enthusiasts (PACE) will display 11 rare classic car collections from the 40’s up to the present, paired with the collections of recognized designers of the Fashion Council of Cebu (FCC). The classic cars are all inspired from movie scenes in different eras also from the 40’s up to 2000. Not to mention cars seen in movies such as “To Catch A Thief,” “The Avengers TV series,” “XXX,” “Gone in 60 Seconds,” and “Dark Knight.”
The exhibit will combine fashion and classic iconic cars from the collections of Cebu car enthusiasts belonging to PACE. Members of the club are composed of some of the city’s top business personalities.
Experienced and accomplished Fashion Council of Cebu members joining this year’s Gear and Glam: Larger Than Life are Arcy Gayatin, Albert Arriba, Cary Santiago, Ditas Rodriguez, Jojo Romoff, Jun Escario, Oj Hofer, Philip Rodriguez, Philip Tampus, Vania Romoff , and Yvonne Quisumbing.
This event is also supported by Metrografix, Asti Martini, Sledgers, and Sun.Star.
Gear and Glam: Larger than Life fashion show will happen on Oct. 5, 6 p.m. at the Northwing Atrium. Exhibit will run from Oct. 6 to 7, 2012 at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu.
