HOTEL and food industry gets the big bulk of tourism. Café Laguna is unbeatable in native cuisines because the Urbinas, going on their 21 years of service, have not lost their passion to serve quality Filipino food. True, the F&B is the lifeblood of hotels! There was a series of Chinese culinary treats. Marriott had the Thai food fest; Marco Polo brought chefs Gene and Gino Gonzales for the “Culinary Impressions of China.” And Radisson? It was a glorious launching of its October theme, “Turning Cebu Blu!”

Celebrations
Congratulations to the inauguration of the University of Cebu Medical Center; the unveiling of the Pristine North residences in Talamban; the grand reveal of Grand Residences Cebu at M. Cuenco Ave.; the jolly birthday bash of Congressman Pablo Garcia; and the 10th founding anniversary of the Golden Center of Cebu. Friends remembered Go Ching Hai on his first death anniversary with Holy Mass and lunch at the Sacred Heart Church and Center.
