WITH good taste, the Cebu City Sports Club (CCSC) at Cebu Business Park is introducing their new bistro—the first among many more projects lined up for relaunching in the exclusive club.
Bistro88 bar and restaurant is located at the ground floor of the CCSC and caters to club members and their guests. The place delivers a modern-minimalist interior design and the glass panels that substitute for concrete walls, allow diners to appreciate the healthy dose of natural light from the outside and the good scenery of green around the area.
The menu proudly showcases the restaurant’s own take on modern Asian and Mediterranean cuisine.
Popular orders include the salmon teriyaki with ginger mushroom rice—truly a delectable plateful of teppan-grilled salmon fillets, generously covered in teriyaki sauce. There is also the grilled Vietnamese pork chops—aromatic five-spice pork chops with Vietnamese pickled carrots, spicy cashew salad, served with garlic rice.
Should one opt for heavier meals, baby back ribs should be a perfect choice. Grilled fork-tender pork ribs with a refreshing ginger-lime barbeque sauce. The bistro’s salisbury steak is also a sure pleaser for meat lovers.
For snacks, the bistro also serves up their own versions of pizza perfect for friends.
Choices are: the all-meat pizza, Hawaiian pizza, grilled vegetable pizza, parma ham, aragula and figs pizza and the shrimp and garlic pizza.
Bistro88 is open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily. The kitchen stops serving meals by 9 p.m., and starts to serve bar chow instead, as the restaurant is transformed into a lounge bar where club members can relax and enjoy the night.
