TV 5 is set to offer a new sound and arm people with information with the launching of Radyo Singko 101.9 News FM.

Known as the country’s first AM on FM news station, Radyo Singko 92.3 News FM has become one of the leading news stations in Manila since it made its first broadcast two years ago.

Radyo Singko 101.9 News FM brings together some of the region’s most respected names in broadcast and public service.

On weekdays from 5:30 – 9:00 a.m., tune in to “Frankahay Ta!” which blends news, commentary, editorial, public debate and updates delivered by three of the best lawyer-public servants in town – Atty. Frank Malilong Jr., Atty. Omar Redula and Atty. Briccio Boholst, along with broadcast veterans Rosemarie Holganza-Borromeo and Rey Passaporte.

On Saturday mornings starting at 5:30 a.m., listen to Redula and Boholst as they offer a unique combination of news, updates and free on-air legal assistance with “Tambag ni Torni.”

According to TV 5 Cebu station manager Karla Kintanar-Fernandez, some of Manila’s radio programming will initially fill the rest of the station’s daily programming.

In the next few months, she added, Radyo Singko will develop more programs that will interest the listening public and provide necessary information that Cebuanos need.
