Lotus opens in Pueblo Verde, Mactan

WITH the number of locals and tourists in Mactan Island, it’s surprising that there aren’t a lot of establishments to hang out.
As such, most of the people head to mainland Cebu to party.
Lotus aims to change the nightlife scene in Mactan.
Lotus, the first super club in Mactan, was established to cater to those foreigners and locals who go all the way to the city just to party.
“Mactan is lacking in nightlife and we want to develop it,” says marketing manager Khristine Boniel.
She adds that since the club opened, the response has been overwhelming. “We didn’t expect people to thank us for opening a club. Now people of Mactan don’t need to travel so far.”
Lotus can accommodate around 600 party-goers and prides itself on bring affordable. It also serves food, with their crispy pata being the runaway best seller.
