THE feast that best defines Cebuano culture is the feast of the Señor Santo Niño.
Celebrations span seven days, ending on the third Sunday of January with the Sinulog Mardi Gras. People from around the world flock to Cebu to experience Cebu in sights, sounds, dance and food!
So for the month of January, Port Restaurant docks in Cebu for a “Sinulog Sugba” celebration! It kicked off on Jan. 4. Guests get to taste true Cebuano dishes such as barbecued pork belly, chicken, squid, chorizo, dinuguaan, pinakbet, kare-kare with hipon, and monggo gata soup in addition to your Port buffet favorites!
What’s more, from Jan. 14 to 20 at 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., you can watch a spectacular tribal dance Sinulog production for free! It will be performed by the award-winning DanceSport Team Cebu City.
