THE two brothers who created a buzz when they composed a song, entitled Amalayer, using the controversial line “amalayer,” will be in Cebu this Sinulog weekend.
The “Amalayer” incident has been spoofed so many times on YouTube but two brothers made it into a song. The Antonio Brothers—composed of Isaiah and Andrei—are known for making covers of popular songs with the former as lead vocalist while playing a ukelele or small guitar and the latter as back-up singer while playing an acoustic guitar. It’s also Andrai who edits the videos of their covers and uploads it on Isaiah’s YouTube account (isaiahantonio).
“Amalayer” comes from a viral video of a woman raising her voice at a lady security guard inside the LRT 2- Santolan station in Manila. Catch them live on Jan. 19, 2 p.m. at the Event Centre of SM City Cebu. (PR)
