MAKE a big splash in the year of the Water Snake! Celebrate Chinese New Year with Food, Fun, and Fortune at Ayala Center Cebu.
The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th day.
On Feb. 9 at the Terraces, let us welcome the Year of the Water Snake as Ayala Cebu commences Chinese New Year with XIN NIAN: Cebu City Chinese New Year Festival 2013. In partnership with the Cebu City Tourism Commission, this fusion of traditional and contemporary activities that celebrate the rich Chinese culture will also showcase an exotic street food festival participated by Cebu’s best Chinese restaurants until Feb. 10.
Ayala Center Cebu will come alive with the sounds of traditional music during the Lion & Dragon Dance Show on Feb. 10 from 4-8 p.m. and the tantalizing smells wafting from the many authentic Chinese delicacies set-up in various pop-up stores at the Terraces.
Come soak in the atmosphere at Ayala Center during Chinese New Year and be entertained by the many activities that happen around it. You’ll leave understanding Chinese culture and its traditions better, as well as with more luck and prosperity for the rest of the year.
