3 Cebuanos win in Olive-C tilt-A A +A

THREE young Cebuano students won in the recently concluded Mr. and Ms. Olive-C Campus Model Philippines 2013 held at the
AFP Theater in Pasay City.
Nathaniel Tiu of the Cebu Institute of Technology University placed first runner-up for the male category. Lyre Yves Campos of the Cebu Velez College and Maria Cassandra Yu of the University of San Carlos Talamban Campus paired as second runners-up for the male and female categories, respectively.
Joefel Alas of the Holy Cross College of Davao City and 15-year-old Chelsea Samantha Starling of the Child Jesus of Prague School in Rizal were named Mr. and Ms. Olive-C Campus Model Philippines 2013. Christia Gail Ocampo of the Assumption College of Manila was first runner-up in the female category.
Tiu also grabbed the following awards: Mr. Showbiz Sosyal, Best in Resort Wear, Mr. Psalmstre, and Mr. New Placenta. Cassandra also won Best in Festival Costume. Campos was adjudged Mr. Sundance, Mr. Philippine Airlines, Mr. 2Go Travel, Best in National Costume, Best in Festival Costume and Mr. Fashion Exchange.
Now on its third year, the campus-based beauty-and-brain pageant was presented by Psalmstre Enterprises Inc., the maker of Olive-C, New Placenta and Glutamin beauty and skincare products, in cooperation with Creworks Asia.
Some of the pageant’s alumni include Hiro Magalona, who is now a GMA-7 talent; Abygale Monderin, the 2012 Ms. Bikini Philippines; and Aljhon Lucas, who stars in the ABS-CBN afternoon teleserye Kahit Konting Pagtingin.
Cebuana Murielle Adrienne Orais was the first female winner in 2011, who became Ms. Philippines-Water later that year. PR/RMS
