SUMMER is for new learning experiences outside of the classrooms! They come in various forms.

Speechcom International has an interesting package called “English Mix,” in which fluency in speaking and singing in English is interrelated with music and choreography. On April 10-24, graders (morning), high school students (afternoon) students and pre-school pupils (10-11:45 a.m.), Mondays to Fridays, will once again converge at the Sacred Heart Center to experience fun-filled interactive sessions to make them better readers, declaimers, orators, emcees, performing artists, among others. A grand culminating activity at the Ayala awaits the participants. Immediately after the Holy Week, Val Sandiego will once again gather participants to his summer dance workshop where they learn cultural as well as modern dances. He said there will be new improvisations to make each session energizing an entertaining.
Over at the School of Rock, the Salongas and the Fegi-Browns will continue musical lessons to all grade levels, who will also be working on a colorful stage presentations. For the Cebu Center for Pop, enrolment is going on at its new location at JCenter Mall in Manduae.
The Bright Academy, St. Benedict, the Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion, have their on in-house summer training. Swimming lessons at the Sacred Heart Center are offered daily. For those who wish to learn driving, A1 Driving School is at SM City. Zumba Dance? Come to Fitness First at Ayala. See, there are so many summer programs to keep the children busy.
At the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Basak, the high school teachers and faculty are spending time to rehearse for its musicale, a modern adaptation of Snow White, The Wicked Witch and the Seven Dwarfs, a learning experience in theater and English sessions. Dr. Rose Enario, Nellie Dosado and Leonila Dosado are coordinating rehearsals to be ready for the March 11-12, playdates at the fully air-conditioned Recoletos Coliseum.
