Town residents get free services from AFP-A A +A

A TOTAL of 492 residents of Kantubaon, a mountain barangay of Tabuelan, Cebu received various free services from the Armed Forces Philippines reservists personnel of 1901st Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade, 7RCDG, Army Reserve Command, Philippine Army, and the reserve 5th Technical and Administrative Service Brigade.
Services given for free were medical consultations, notarial services, legal advice, haircut, story book reading, games and feeding.
All-Terrain Medical Relief Organization also joined in providing free medical consultation with 16 medical doctors.
The activity was also held in cooperation with the 34h Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army and Central Command who provided the security and transportation.
The activity is part of the AFP’s internal peace and security plan “Bayanihan,” and a way for government services to reach out to the constituents who cannot avail themselves of the regular health check-up and medication.
