Tuesday, October 15, 2013
CAMPAIGNS and Grey Cebu (C&G Cebu) bagged four of four awards in the advertising category during the 16th Cebu Archdiocesan Mass Media Awards (CAMMA).
The agency won best titles for Billboard Advertising (“Power of Choice” - Mang Tinapay), Print Advertising (“Lig-on nga Baroganan” - Pre-campaign for Gov. Hilario Davide III), TV Advertising (“Bus” - Hemroid), and Radio Advertising (“Anti-korapsyon” - Pre-campaign for Gov. Hilario Davide III) in what is now its second grand slam year in the CAMMA, which recognizes and awards outstanding individual and institutional media works that promote universal human values and preserve the positive in Filipino culture and tradition. The media categories include: Print Media in English and Cebuano, Radio Station, Television Station, and Website. The only multinational advertising agency outside of Metro Manila, C&G Cebu owes its recent sweeping success and its having won the same four CAMMA awards in 2011 to its access to a global network of Grey and WPP agencies and affiliates, coupled with expertise in communication tools and practices in on-ground work for local consumers. As a branch of Campaigns & Grey, C&G Cebu’s use of global standards and local insight in meeting the unique qualifications of the VisMin market has made it one of the most recognized advertising agencies in the region and in the CAMMA, which is held every two years.
