The Pork Shop celebrates 5th anniversary-A A +A
Tuesday, October 22, 2013
WITH Cebuanos known to be rather particular with food and value for their money, Virgina Farms Inc.’s The Pork Shop rises to the challenge of providing customers with the best quality of pork.
After over 40 years of being in the swine farming industry, Virginia Farms Inc. expanded into retail with the opening of The Pork Shop in 2008. It has become the leader in terms of pork retailing.
The Pork Shop offers a wide variety of pork cuts sourced from their piggery farms located in Compostela and Asturias. It guarantees having only the best and freshest cuts that are free from harmful residue, as they adapt modern practices on pig farming that meet international standards. Their meat cutting facility is strictly maintained under controlled temperatures.
“You can compare the difference in terms of taste, meat tenderness, color and water holding capacity,” Virginia Farms Inc. vice president Rolando Tambago tells Sun.Star Cebu.
Even with this, The Pork Shop takes pride in offering wet market prices in a clean setting.
In line with their fifth anniversary on Oct. 28, The Pork Shop is having a week-long anniversary promo. Loyal customers can expect daily surprises—buy one take one offers and discounts—at all The Pork Shop outlets.
The Pork Shop has branches in Banilad, Cabancalan, Canduman, Basak Mandaue, Maguikay, Labangon, Opon, Guadalupe and Mactan. It opens every day from 7 a.m. to 12 n.n., 2-7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays, and 2-6 p.m. on Sundays.
It also has a delivery service for a minimum purchase of P5,000. (PST)
