Edwin Ao’s cropped trousers and sleek layers in gray and black were worn with oxford shoes, in menswear-style tailoring for her and a jacket with mixed textures for him.
Oj Hofer’s sweeping lengths and sumptuous layers were accessorized with spiked platform boots and opulent accessories by Zanoria.
Jun Escario presented his streamlined silhouettes entirely in black, one as a dress with a deep V and another in an avant garde pantsuit with a floor-length jacket.
Arcy Gayatin’s romantic, striped designs were a short fringed dress with a matching shrug, and an asymmetrically hemmed dress with draping on the back. For day-to-night ensembles, Yvonne Quisumbing showed new ways for a sleeveless shell-and-culottes combination, and a multi-layered take on the shift dress.
Black and white ensembles by Vania Romoff were both done in midi lengths, one with a loose but structured kimono top, and the other with an ultra-fitted shape with volume only at the sleeves. Albert Arriba spared no drama with embellished masks that completely covered the head, as part of each of his fishtail gowns in black and white.
Ditas Rodriguez’s yellow and pastel blue outfits featured textures, pleats and woven skirts. Cary Santiago’s twists on the classics were a sleek men’s suit with a tied waist and slim lapels, and a belted strapless short dress with a bell-shaped skirt.
A fur-lined dress and jacket with floral appliques were the darkly romantic creations of Philipp Tampus. Philip Rodriguez presented a timeless pairing of a double-breasted suit and bow tie for him, and a gold empire-waist gown worn with opera gloves for her.
A men’s fur coat offset the lightness of a sheer black dress with thin crystal straps by Rey Santos.
These creations were paraded with luxury cars through the fashionable streets of Tokyo, Milan, London, Moscow and New York, set in SM Cebu’s Northwing Atrium.
