Wednesday, October 30, 2013
LIBERA, the all-boys choir from London, is known all around the world for their angelic voices and beautiful renditions of classical songs.
As part of the first anniversary celebration of the canonization of the Visayan martyr St. Pedro Calungsod, Libera’s Cebu concert, in partnership with Arts Council Cebu and the British Alumni Association, will happen on Oct. 31 in the Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod located in SM Seaside Complex, South Road Properties.
The Visayas was hit by a massive earthquake accompanied by tremors striking in succession with Bohol sustaining majority of the damage. Restorations are currently underway and proceeds from Libera’s concert will be for the benefit of these earthquake victims.
Visayans are doing everything they can to help repair the severe damage caused by the calamity that struck their region this month. This concert aims to not only repair the fallen infrastructures but also lift the spirits of the people who were affected by the great quake. Don’t miss this beautiful concert. (PR)
