Who’s your daddy?-A A +A

FROM the kitchens of Creative Cuisine Gourmet Group (CCGC) come the biggest rolling food station in the Queen City of the South.
CCGC is one of the biggest homegrown full-service catering outfits by a team of siblings who are professionals in the Philippine culinary industry. Other businesses include Big Mao, Chikaan and Kaffee Alde. Talk about being big.
The concept of Big Daddy Truck was already cooking since May. It used to be an old school bus from the US, 27 feet long and about 12 to 15 feet in width.
Fast food items are up for grabs from quarter-pound signature burgers, sliders (big flavors in small sizes) to sandwiches, pasta, fries, sweet treats and milkshakes. Go big or go home with belly chops, massive cut pork chops and pork belly slathered with pesto butter.
“The food truck concept is a phenomenon in the US. It actually develops a sense of community by bringing people together in the streets,” CCGC head Honcho John Dytian said.
“It’s about time Big Daddy feeds Cebu,” CCGC chef Derek Dytian added.
Big Daddy Truck parked for orders at the open area right across The Walk in Cebu IT Park from Dec. 12 to 15, sundown to midnight. A week after, it was stationed at the lot beside Chikaan in Lahug.
Good food is here to stay. Big flavors, big bites, Big Daddy does it right!
Big Daddy Truck is also open for corporate events and private functions. Like them on Facebook.com/bigdaddytruck, follow them Twitter @bigdaddy_truck, or tag them on Instagram (#whosyourdaddy).
