THE launching of Apple’s iPad Air and iPad Mini second generation has been one of the most awaited days of techies and Apple fans. Last month, both devices were officially launched in the Visayas and Mindanao area.

The iPad Mini with Retina display boasts of 3.1 million pixels on a small yet efficient size. Every photo becomes clearer and more vibrant. This high resolution makes the new iPad Mini stunning to behold. The A7 chip makes it a more efficient device in battery life and makes it even more powerful. It also has better Wi-Fi capability, with two antennas, that allows users to log on to different networks.

iPad Air is all about lightness. It uses the A7 chip that provides killer performance without sacrificing the battery life of the device. The iPad Air has a Retina display that makes photos very life-like. Wi-Fi connectivity is also faster with its MIMO technology and dual antenna. It suits those in the creative fields who need larger displays to check and edit their images and footages.

Chezka Yap, marketing manager of iStore in SM City Cebu, suggests choosing an Apple device that best matches one’s lifestyle. For those who are on-the-go, a smaller device might be ideal. However, photographers who need to edit photos might prefer a bigger display. (ADO)
