Gionee launches Elife E7

TODAY'S competition for smartphones is tough. One has to find ways to stand out from the competitors. This is what Gionee Communications Equipment Ltd. Co. is doing. They launched their latest flagship product, the Elife E7, in Cebu last March 27, 2014.

The Chinese brand, which means golden quality, has been in the country since last year. Their market concentration is 80 percent in Luzon and Greater Manila Area and 30 to 40 percent for Visayas and Mindanao.

Gionee’s Elife E7 is made for shooting as the lenses are professionalized. It is considered as a hybrid between an iPhone and a Samsung. The phone boasts of higher pixel size compared to other smartphones in the market with its 1.34um pixel size and 16MP back camera. The front camera, on the other hand, is 8.0MP with auto focus.

The Elife E7 is very suitable for the Philippine market, especially since it’s the selfie capital of the wold, Beally Lee the country manager of Gionee Philippines, said.

Its glossy unibody design makes the mobile device eye-catching. Elife E7 also comes in seven colors and a 5.5-inch HD display. It’s fast performing with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Series and either 2GB or 3GB RAM.

It is also equipped with the Amigo interface, an enhanced user-interface that’s exclusive to Gionee phones. The Amigo improves the Android features that make the phone more user-friendly.

Katrin Salanga-Gregorio, Gionee Philipines mobile head, said that the brand has been received well by the Philippine market and is now progressing. The brand has already released more than 10 mobile phones in the country and will be launching more devices and promotions.

The company was founded in 2001 and Gionee is now available in 40 countries worldwide. (ADO)
