ABOUT 100 patients from the children’s ward of the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center received assorted goods and books in an outreach mission conducted by Can+Hear Marco Emmanuel Charity Inc. and AJD Angels of Hope last April 26.

The activity was initiated in celebration of the birthday of Zita Mercado Demaree, AJD founder, with volunteers that included Tessie M. Rodriguez, Shelly M. Rodriguez, Chique M. Abad, Rowena Rogers, Jun Econopolus and Dr. Emmanuel P. Mercado, Can+Hear founder.

All pediatric patients received a pack of goods, toys and children’s books.
