NATFAMCO holds 3-day seminar

LEARN to farm the natural way. Join the Natural Farmers Multi-purpose Cooperative (NATFAMCO) natural farming basic course, which will start today, July 2, to July 4 at the Ecotech Center in Sudlon, Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.

Participants will learn about mixing concoctions, feed formulation, constructing poultry, pig pens and raised beds for vegetables. There will also be a lecture on different techniques in urban gardening.

After completing the course, participants would know how to produce organic vegetables and fruits and raise native chicken and livestock. Organic food products are good for the health and the planet as it does not involve hazardous chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
