GLOBALTRONICS launched its third National Digital Arts Awards (NDAA) for the Visayas at Azia Suites and Residences Cebu last Sept. 8, together with the signing of their various school partners namely the University of the Philippines Cebu, University of San Jose-Recoletos, Southwestern University, Benedicto College, St. Theresa’s College and the University of Cebu as part of the national roadshow of the biggest NDAA yet.
In the hopes of exhibiting local talent for global opportunities, Globaltronics has started its advocacy in 2012 by awarding talented artists through the NDAA.
Now on its third year and having officially launched last Aug. 7 in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, the NDAA will be highlighting works of the Filipino youth with the theme #DigitalPinoyAko which will be about their respective reflections and interpretations of the Philippines as a country that continues to rise with the help of digital technology.
This year’s NDAA is open to all senior high school, college and technical-vocational students. One may submit his digital print and motion graphics to the NDAA via ndaa.globaltronics.net where information about the judges for the awards is also posted. The deadline of submission is until Oct. 16. A total of P1.5 million worth of cash prizes is up for grabs. The Awards Night will be held on Jan. 15, 2016 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila, Pasay City.
