Carol Ballesteros, excellence in corporate communication; professional services in Ramon Aboitiz Foundation- Mega Cebu; Eduardo Aboitiz Cancer director; pioneer orator and stage artist in University of San Jose-Recoletos Dramatics and Cultural Ensemble; success as trainor in community and youth leadership. Bessie Espina Villamor, BSBA MA Business Administration; Professional excellence and services in the banking profession (RCBC); pioneer and ultimate artist and singer,  USJR-Drac; leadership in Rotary International.

THIS year’s P.E.O.P.L.E series of Talento Cebuano, inspired by the Perlas Awards of  Pbilippines Foundation, will be held in tandem with Thank You For The Music (Series 5) at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 22 at the Ayala Center Cebu Activity Center.

The Talento Cebuano awards Cebuanos by birth or by choice who excelled in their skills and profession in arts, culture, service and entrepreneurship. Awards will be conferred by the University of San Jose-Recoletos Dramatics and Cultural (USJ-R Drac) Ensemble, Speechcom and We Care. This year awards are focused on successful USJ-R Drac alumni. The special guests of honor are Cebu Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale and Ambassador Francisco Benedicto who will confer the awards assisted by Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Zonta past president Tess Chan, Zonta past president Stella Bernabe, Zonta 1 president Chabeng Garcia, USJ-R president Christopher Maspara and We Care president Ramon Sebastian.

This year’s Thank You For The Music will celebrate my 53 years of theater craft (1964-2017) in USJ-R and will see alumni and current USJ-R Drac members performing with friends and guests. The fellowship features rehearsed and impromptu numbers. We all thank the Lord for all our successful performances here and abroad.
