NATIONAL Book Store treated Cebu’s creative bunch to two days of full-on arts and crafts as it presented “Make & Create, an Arts and Crafts Festival” last Oct. 14 and 15 at SM City Cebu.
It was two days filled with jam-packed activities starting at 10 in the morning onward featuring brush calligraphy, basic sketching demo, floral painting and sketching, flower watercolor painting and DIY (do-it-yourself) paper weaving workshop, to name a few, under the guidance of talented artists.
Murals were also planted at the place along with a box filled with markers so every guest could freely color them.
Admission was free and open to the public. With the event held at The Northwing, attendants shopped for their favorite brands, browsed the latest products of each brand while also participating in some of the respective workshops.
Participating brands included Avenue Mandarine, Blackwing, Caran d’Ache, Chameleon, Craft Easy, Creation by Valiant, Deli, Disney Art Attack, Elmer’s, Evo, Fabriano, Grumbacher, Imari, Kid Made Modern, Leuchtturm1917, Limelight, Marvy Uchida, Ooly, Prismacolor, Sakura, Sharpie, Sheaffer, Uni and Wescott.
