This is precisely what the Que family of Golden Prince Hotel and Suites has revived: a “fiesta” of Cebuano delicacies, as concocted by guest culinary guru Louella Alix, who has made it her passion to write a cookbook about this.
One afternoon, our “guest chef” took over the reins of the Heritage Lounge of the hotel and, with Chef Lucio Loquiente, prepared her version of binangkal which was an instant hit with media and close friends.
Our very genial host Aaron Que, corporate communications manager of the hotel, was pleasantly hovering about seeing to it that everyone’s plates and glasses were filled!
“Painit sa Kabilin” Merienda Buffet at the Heritage Lounge of the hotel is served daily from 2 to 6 p.m. at a superbly affordable rate of P248 per person.
