THIS year’s celebration of the Fiesta Señor is made extra special at Mandani Bay. Cebu’s transformative lifestyle destination rolls out the red carpet for its Balikbayan Day on Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Mandani Bay Show Gallery along F. E. Zuellig Avenue, Mandaue City. From 2 p.m. until sundown, Filipinos returning from overseas (balikbayans) will be treated to the traditional Sinulog street dance, a buffet of native delicacies and scrumptious Cebu lechon.
Part of the Sinulog festival highlights the beginning of Christianity in the Philippines with a fluvial procession and a reenactment of the baptism of the native chieftain Rajah Humabon and his wife, Hara Humamay into the Christian faith in 1521. For this year’s fluvial celebration, Mandani Bay hosts its buyers for an unrestricted view of the galleon bearing the Sto. Niño, and accompanying seacraft, passing through the Mactan Channel, along which the promising community is being built.
Mandani Bay is Cebu’s most promising development. With a 500-meter water frontage facing the Mactan Channel, this world-class 20-hectare development has a stunning view of the coast and encompassing cityscape. Built around a lifestyle of connectivity, this premium mixed-use community hosts a series of expansive podium blocks interconnected by footbridges. Residential towers rise from each of the podiums’ amenity roof decks, while street front retail thrives along the wide boulevards.
At the heart of Mandani Bay is the Green Promenade, a wide tree-lined avenue that cuts through the center of the property, lending the environment a refreshing spirit that encourages an active lifestyle among residents. The Boardwalk enables relaxation, evening walks and lounging to a spectacular view of the Mactan Channel.
Mandani Bay has set the bar for a new era of development in the Philippines. (PR)
