U-Bix introduces new and exciting products

U-Bix Corp., the leader in the sales of multi-function office equipment, has been evolving from machine sales to outsourcing services and printing solutions.

U-Bix continues to be the market leader in innovative products and services for the last 36 years. In 2007, they bought a division of Kodak Philippines Ltd. in the Kodak
Imaging Center (KIC). The KIC is now renamed the U-Bix Data Center or UDC.

It basically offers source document to digital conversion services, statement printing and data encoding or indexing services. The UDC also markets a software called DocuVu which is a search engine that will enable people to easily manage digitized images and computer files. The software has a single user, local area network and internet connectivity options.

U-Bix Corp.’s core business is still the photocopier or now known as the multi-function printer (MFP). They are the exclusive distributor of Konica Minolta MFP products in the Philippine market.

Konica Minolta through U-Bix will be introducing new and exciting products that will meet the needs of a growing market for better, faster and versatile digital printers.

This is according to U-Bix chief executive officer and chairman of the board Atty. Edilberto B. Bravo.

Last quarter, U-Bix introduced the Konica Minolta bizhub 164 which is a cost effective A3 size multifunction printer. This is ideal for small and medium enterprises as well as startup companies. The Konica Minolta bizhub 164 can print at 16 copies per minute, photocopy and scan up to double the regular size paper (maximum A3 size). It is easy to use and has a low running cost.

In the fourth quarter, U-Bix will introduce the latest Konica Minolta Production
Printer series called Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS. These machines will show superior print quality that is near that of an offset printer.

U-Bix will be offering printer consolidation as a service. U-Bix account executives and consultants will study unique requirements of customers and present recommendations. Visit U-Bix booth at the CEAP exhibit at the Waterfront Lahug which will run from Sept. 22 to 24.
