Satisfied
Renante, in an interview with reporters after the meeting, said he is satisfied with how the task force handled the investigation.
In a report over GMA 7’s Balitang Bisdak, lawyer Frank Malilong, who accompanied Renante yesterday, said he is also “happy with the way the investigation is going on.”
Comendador said the task force, which is composed of the National Bureau of Investigation, Police Regional Office 7 and other law enforcement units, met last Tuesday to finalize the information and evidence that will be used in filing the charges.
Kidnapped
Ellah Joy, 6, was taken outside her school in Barangay Calajo-an, Minglanilla, Cebu last Feb. 8.
She was found dead at the foot of a cliff in Barangay Sayaw, Barili the following day.
The police said they would only identify the suspects, once the charges against them are filed.
