A MAN, believed to be in his 50s, allegedly shot and killed two relatives of his 19-year-old girlfriend in Sitio Candabong, Barangay Binlod in the southern Cebu town of Argao last Tuesday night.
The police said Arman del Rosario also wounded his girlfriend’s 14-year-old sister.

PO2 Marvin Chin, desk officer at the Argao Police Station, said the incident occurred at 9 p.m.
Mario C. Garcia, 62, grandfather of the suspect’s girlfriend, and his son-in-law, Miguel Marino Aradillos, 42, died of gunshot wounds.
Chest wound
Jammorin Garcia, 14, the suspect’s sister, was taken to a hospital in Cebu City, due to a gunshot wound in her chest.
The incident stemmed from an argument the two men had with the suspect who was trying to persuade his girlfriend, Jamaica Garcia, not to end their relationship.
Del Rosario reportedly went to the house of Jamaica to speak to her.
Garcia’s parents disapproved of their daughter’s relationship with del Rosario, who is married but is reportedly estranged from his wife.
The police said del Rosario got angry when he saw Jamaica’s mother slap her.
“Ayaw hilabti kay magkamatay ta karon (Touch her again and I’ll kill you),” del Rosario allegedly warned Jamaica’s mother.
This triggered an argument among del Rosario, Mario and Aradillos.
The police report said Aradillos got hold of a .38 revolver owned by Mario. But the older man confiscated the gun and removed the five bullets that were in its cylinder.
Unknown to the two men, del Rosario had a gun and shot Mario.
A slug that hit Mario went through his body, hitting Jammorin, who was standing behind her grandfather.
Del Rosario then ran out of the house, followed by Aradillos.
But the suspect turned and shot Aradillos, hitting him in the face.
Before the police arrived at the scene, Del Rosario fled, taking Jamaica with him.
The responding team from the Argao Police Station recovered the .38 revolver near Aradillos’s body.
The police also found five bullets, a few feet from the bodies of Aradillos and Mario.
Chin said a manhunt was launched against del Rosario, who is a native of Pangasinan but has been residing in Sitio Candabong for some time.
