The presence of the suspects inside the restobar was noticed when operatives of the Mobile Patrol Group spotted a Toyota Vios with plate number PII 399, which was reportedly used as a getaway vehicle.
Prior to their arrest, the suspects were tagged as among the four men who barged into the office of a businessman in Barangay Labangon and ran away with a laptop.
A staff of a businessman, who buys and sells used cars, provided the police the plate number of the getaway vehicle that led to the arrest of the suspects.
Reportedly seized from the possession f Teves and Reyes were four medium packs of shabu, drug paraphernalia, a .38 revolver, two .45 pistols, four magazines, eight pieces of live ammunition, a laptop, assorted identification cards, passports, ATM (automated teller machine) cards, several keys, a USB, a blood pressure apparatus, a modem, a remote control, bags and clothes.
The following day, six more victims, including an Australian national, went to the police and pointed to the two suspects as the ones who also took their personal belongings.
