They said the culprits, who were on board a red motorcycle, suddenly stopped near them and declared the holdup.
One of the three men reportedly pointed a .45 pistol at the victims while declaring the holdup.
The culprits took the victims’ bags, where their cellular phones, cash and personal items were kept.
SPO2 Reynario Patillas of the Casuntingan Police Station said that the incident may have been related to an earlier robbery in the area, which occurred a few weeks ago.
Patillas revealed that the victims were able to remember the plate number of the vehicle. It is now being verified.
