A MAN was shot and killed by two men on board a motorcycle at the corner of Salvador St. and Convergys Road, Barangay Labangon, Cebu City last Tuesday dawn.
The victim, identified as Sergio Dingal Zafra, arrived in the area together with his relative Alfredo Labrado Zafra to meet someone.
Two men, however, arrived on board a blue motorcycle and shot Sergio, who fell on the sidewalk.
The gunmen fired more shots at Sergio when they noticed the victim was still breathing.
Sergio died from multiple gunshot wounds in his body.
One of the culprits took Sergio’s cellular phone.
The gunmen also pointed a gun at Alfredo but the latter pleaded to be spared.
The gunmen then left.
Alfredo rushed home and reported the attack to the police.
The police recovered four slugs, a dark blue helmet and empty shells from caliber .45.
They are looking into money or drugs as the possible motives in the killing. (Darling Dame G. Imon, SWU Mass Comm Intern)
