The governor also led the inauguration of a two-classroom building in Casay National High School.
In his speech, Cesante named the projects that the Garcias have given to the town.

Gwen said when she ran for her second term as governor in 2007, Pablo John accompanied her to the town to be introduced to the people. She won in that year’s election.
Reversed
Yesterday, she said, the situation was reversed. She was accompanying Pablo John, who will run for governor next year. She hopes her brother will win, too.
Pablo John, One Cebu gubernatorial aspirant, introduced Durano as his running mate.
A meeting with the barangay captains was held after the activity and presided by Cesante. The barangay officials expressed their full support to One Cebu.
The town’s Association of Barangay Councils president Eriberto Bentazal said there are three barangay leaders who took their oath as One Cebu members but are in doubt since they are close friends of Provincial Board Member Wilfredo Caminero, a Liberal Party member.
Bentazal did not name the barangay leaders.
