TWO men were killed while two others were wounded in separate shooting incidents in Cebu Province last Sunday.
Edgar Entera, 27, died after he was shot in the head by his neighbor in Barangay Bulasa, Argao past 5 a.m., police said.
Ranel Natividad, 34, surrendered to authorities shortly after the incident, together with the .38 revolver he allegedly used.
Police are eyeing a grudge as the motive behind the attack.
At 6:30 p.m., a man was also killed by his neighbor in Barangay General-Climaco, Toledo City.
SPO4 Gil Lastimosa of Toledo City Police Station identified the victim as Gonzalo Sambroso, 48.
Police are now looking for Rene Salumad and Arnel Selgas, who ran away after allegedly conniving in killing the victim.
Before the incident, the trio was discussing where they will hold the next “tabo” or market.
A heated argument suddenly ensued between them, prompting Salumad to pull out an undetermined firearm. He then shot Sambroso.
Meanwhile, a farmer was shot by his neighbor in his house in Barangay Masaba, Danao City.
The attack occurred at 7:10 p.m. while Libertino Prieto, 46, was playing with his three-year-old son, said PO2 Roselo Campo of Danao City Police Station.
Venerando Vasquez poked his firearm into the jalousie window and opened fire. The victim was hit on his nape. The suspect fled.
Prieto was brought to Danao Provincial Hospital, but was transferred to a hospital in Cebu City.
Campo told Sun.Star Cebu that the two harbored a grudge against each other since then. Before, the victim was also shot by Vasquez due to a conflict.
Two hours later, Timmy Bellesa was shot by an unidentified assailant in Barangay Poblacion, Danao City.
The victim was talking with his neighbors at a bastketball court in Sitio Suba when the suspect approached him.
Without provocation, Bellesa was shot in the abdomen by the gunman, who was wearing a tank top and short pants.
The suspect then boarded a getaway vehicle parked nearby while Bellesa was rushed to the hospital.
Police recovered an empty shell, four live ammunitions and a magazine of a .45 pistol in the crime scene. They are still investigating the motive of the incident.
