Woman hacks drunk neighbor with 15-inch bolo in Lapu-Lapu

A WOMAN allegedly hacked a drunk neighbor in Sitio Saac 1, Barangay Buaya, Lapu-Lapu City past midnight yesterday.
According to the police, Cleofe Piamonte, 29, attacked Lito Pedellon, 34, with a 15-inch bolo outside her house at 12:30 a.m.
PO1 Wilson Jose Gonzaga of the Pusok Police Station said Piamonte asked Pedellon, who was making noise, to keep quiet, but he got angry and hit the wooden wall of her house.
After destroying a portion of the wall, Pedellon ripped the roof off the parked trisikad owned by Piamonte and her husband.
Angered, Piamonte took a bolo and struck the victim in the head and other parts of the body. The victim managed to run for help.
Pedellon is being treated at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, while Piamonte is detained at the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.
Stabbing
In Barangay Kalunasan, Cebu City, a man is critical after he was stabbed by his companion last Thursday night.
Christopher Entoma, 24, sustained a stab wound in the chest by Ferdinand Lopez, 22, in Sitio Awihaw at 11:30 p.m.
The Homicide Section of the Cebu City Police Office said Entoma and Lopez were having a drinking spree when they got into an argument and fought.
Lopez left but returned a few minutes later allegedly with a kitchen knife.
He then stabbed Entoma in the arm and back.
A scuffle ensued, and Entoma was able to grab the knife from Lopez, who was also injured after he fell and hit his head on the concrete ground.
A barangay tanod arrested Lopez.
The victim and suspect, who sustained lacerations in the head, were rushed to the hospital.
