CEBU CITY - The whole province of Cebu celebrates once again the annual feast of the Holy Infant Jesus, starting with the nine-day novena masses at the Basilica del Sto. Nino Church that Sun.Star website at www.sunstar.com.ph covers live for the first time.
Sun.Star’s live coverage of the novena masses is being done in partnership with the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino de Cebu and Smart Communications Inc.
The Basilica gives Sun.Star access to the activities in observance of the Fiesta Señor 2013, while Smart Communications granted the website team the use of its Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, which is capable of speeds of up to 100 mbps, for “super-fast uploading” of videos and photos.
The live coverage of the novena masses started early morning of Thursday (January 10) with the dawn procession “Walk with Jesus” and the Opening Salvo Mass. [View photos]
