Dejoras stays as terminal admin-A A +A

GOV. Hilario Davide III decided to retain Vicente Dejoras Jr. as administrator of the Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) despite clamor to oust him from the post.
Davide met with a group of stall holders, vendors and Dejoras at the Provincial Capitol yesterday to talk about the petition earlier filed seeking the replacement of the terminal administrator.
After hearing the sides of the concerned parties, Davide said he decided to keep Dejoras in his post.
“After hearing them, I’m convinced that Jun Dejoras is really trying his best to institute discipline aron mahapsay (so that everything will be in order),” Davide told reporters.
Some vendors, stall owners, bus drivers and operators, in a petition, accused Dejoras of allegedly using vulgar language and yelling at them even if they are observing the policies of the facility.
Davide, however, said there are groups who just do not like how Dejoras manages the terminal.
He said there are other stall holders who are satisfied with how Dejoras manages the terminal.
Eddie Dusaban Jr., CSBT assistant manager for operations, defended Dejoras.
He said the terminal administrator is a good person and kind.
Davide said he did not see the need to investigate Dejoras. He said he knew that there were signatures affixed on the petition that do not belong to the vendors inside the terminal but from the vendors outside.
The governor said he also learned that a stall owner inside the terminal named Mariecel Toledo led the filing of the petition.
Davide said some of the signatures were from the customers of Toledo.
He said Toledo is selling items that are not in accordance with her contract.
Because of this, Davide said he decided to issue a warning to all stall owners to properly observe the terms and conditions of their contracts.
