A journalist covering the “Hubo,” a ritual where the statue of the Sto. Niño is stripped of its garments, got the scare of her life when she boarded a taxi whose driver was cross-eyed.

She wanted to jump out of the cab.

“No, it wasn’t only because he was cross-eyed,” she said. “He drove like he was in a drag race. I don’t want to die yet,” she added.

The driver was not Justin Bieber, she stressed.

The journalist asked how the cabbie got his driver’s license given his eye condition.
