INSTEAD of launching a shame campaign, Provincial Board (PB) Member Arleigh Sitoy decided to employ another approach against the alleged cybersex players in Cordova town–a sticker with “No to Cybersex, God Bless This Home” written on it and a drawing of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ beneath the phrase.

Each sticker will be posted in every dwelling in the barangays where alleged cybersex operations exist.

“Ipabarang ta mo (I will have you cursed),” Sitoy warned those who would ignore the new campaign and continue to engage in the cybersex operations.

Sitoy already printed 8,000 stickers for his campaign.

He told reporters that when he was still the mayor of Cordova, his office had identified 30 households involved in cybersex operations.

He warned these operators to stop or “I will curse you all to death.”

Sitoy said Cordova has people practicing in “barang” or witchcraft.

Earlier, Sitoy announced his plan to initiate a shame campaign against cybersex players and he will ostracize them by posting a sign outside their doors that says, “This is a cybersex-prone house.”

Gov. Hilario Davide III finds the idea good but he is apprehensive because it may violate human rights. Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale shared with the governor’s view.

For his new approach, Sitoy said he will rely on the community’s reaction, particularly the housewives, and hopes to be able to get feedbacks two weeks after the stickers are posted.

Those who will refuse to have the sticker posted on his/her house, Sitoy said will be considered a suspected operator.
