MORE than 100 bar owners and managers in Cebu City expressed Wednesday, September 7, their support in the police's campaign against illegal drugs.

Part of the agreement is the deployment of two to three policemen in civilian clothes to the establishments.

Senior Joel Doria, the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) acting director, said one of the places of a club these intelligence operatives will check is the comfort room, where most illegal activities happened.

Doria said some owners told him that there were employees who were engaged in selling illegal drugs inside their establishments.

“Very productive yung pinag-usapan kanina kasi sila mismo they admitted na hindi nila minsan mamomonitor ng ibang employee nila (It was a very productive meeting. They themselves admitted that they cannot monitor all their employees),” said Doria.

The police official said they are looking after party drugs like Ecstasy. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
