ABOUT 16 houses in Barangay Nangka, Consolacion, Cebu, were flooded Wednesday after a river in the area overflowed due to incessant rains brought about bad weather condition in the province.
The residents affected refused to evacuate as the evacuation site is far from the area and they do not want to leave their belongings, according to a Facebook Live report by Flornisa Gitgano of SunStar Cebu.

Barangay Nangka is just one of the areas flooded in Consolacion, which is about 21 kilometers away from Cebu City. (Sunnex)
