POLICE said the reported kidnapping incident in Bogo City at 10 a.m. Monday, March 20, was false.

Senior Police Officer 1 Panelo Villacrusis said the two grade six pupils of Bogo Central School 1 admitted they were only joking.

The girls said they were placed inside a black van with two younger girls, who wore uniforms of Bogo Central School 2.

Investigators checked Bogo Central School 2 and they found out that no one was missing. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
